There has a great deal of media attention recently about our ageing population and the impact this will have on our health care system. The ARI reocgnises these challenges and as a result has released a position statement on the issue. Further, the ARI are currenlty lobbying for funding to run healthy lifestyle programs for the older members of our community. Please click on the link below to review this statement:

ALFA Officially Started PDF Print E-mail
alfalogo.jpg

Last year, after many years of hard work by key ARI members, the ARI voted for the establishment of ALFA – the Australian Leisure Facilities Association. Finally; one national voice for our exciting and potentially influential industry, with strong local partners, knowledge and benefits.

Now ALFA is a reality and it is time for ARI members to take action!

ALFA officially started providing for its members on 1 July 2009. ALFA’s key aim is to provide a national voice both to and on behalf of the industry. With a national organisation will come greater member benefits and ensure the profile of our industry is raised. What ALFA and the ARI have worked hard on is to maintain the level of local support and relevance that ARI members have received in the past, including local conferences, seminars and networking events
